John (Chigone) LeBlanc, 58, of College Bridge, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2001 at the George L. Dumont Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late Désiré LeBlanc and the late Hermance Gautreau. He was the owner and operator of LeBlanc R.V. & Auto Repair. He attended St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Volunteer Fire Department of College Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne (Richard) LeBlanc; one son, Claude (Darcy) LeBlanc, Moncton; three brothers, Laurie LeBlanc, Chateaugay, Quebec, Henri (Catherine) LeBlanc, Pré-d'en-Haut, George (Donalda) LeBlanc, Pré-d'en-Haut; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Henri, Oscar and Gérard and sister Rita.
Remains resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral service to be held on Monday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. at St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St Joseph. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Cemetery in Pré-d'en-Haut.
